Professional Experiences in Supervision
Being a supervisor for new therapists is such an incredible experience. I am able to reflect on how I was many years ago as a new therapist and who I am today as a confident and competent therapist. I enjoy helping therapists grow and nurture their confidence as therapists. My role is a gate keeper to ensure passionate and competent therapists serve the public.
Approaches in Supervision
Providing a supportive and nurturing environment is very important in the relationship between supervisor and supervisees. Many new therapists may have their own hang ups and anxiety in their personal experiences. As a supervisor, I see my work as helping each supervisee to explore their potential to be a successful therapist.
